The Future You Want is Closer Than You Think
Making time to stay grounded and focused on my goals.
-Tres
I work hard these days to stay focused and grounded amid all the change and uncertainty in the world. I know that I feel better when I limit my news intake and screen time, and my energy into my relationships and community instead. I’m inspired by the Parting Prescription for America written by the outgoing Surgeon General, Dr. Vivek Hallegere Murthy (hint - it’s about our need to build connection and community after extended and ongoing isolation. I’m grateful that I downloaded a pdf because it was scrubbed from the Health and Human Services government site today) I’ve been more isolated these past few years, and I’m reaching out to people to reconnect and re-establish a feeling of community. In my re-connection conversations, I share my goals which helps to bring them alive, and this can create opportunities and business collaborations. The time that I spend with people reminds me that my work and presence truly make a difference.
But here’s what I know: The future you want isn’t as far away as it might seem. Sometimes, all it takes is stepping back for a minute, shifting your perspective, and getting intentional about what comes next.
I’ve had so many conversations with brilliant, ambitious people who feel like they should know what’s next but are still feeling stuck. It’s not about lacking skills or ambition—it’s about needing space to figure out what really matters to you now, in this season of your life and work.
So, if that sounds familiar, I’d love to help you get unstuck and start making moves toward something that excites you. (you can book a consult in the upper-right corner)
